Terminator Salvation ending has been changed

The third act of the film has been completely changed “because of the internet leak. The ending doesn’t resemble the previous one in any shape or form”.  And more so, the new ending has tested quite well; it’s gotten a much better reaction than the ‘big reveal’ in the script did.

Incase you didn’t know, the original ending went something like so. (Highlight to reveal).  A John Connor Terminator is created, it ends up killing the REAL John Connor. Terminator Connor is reprogrammed by high ranking resistance fighters. Rest of the resistance goes on to believe that Connor is alive, but he’s really a re-programmed Terminator.

Pineapple Express – A Review

Saw this last night. Features Seth Rogen (Knocked Up) & James Franco (Spider-Man/2/3) as the main leads. However the funniest has to be Danny McBride’s character “Red”.

Red betrays our gang, throws an ash tray at Rogen’s head and beats Franco with a handheld Vacuum cleaner. This leads to him getting beaten up and our gang escapes.

For his failure he is shot in the stomach. When he complains, he is shot in the chest. Despite this he turns over a new leaf and attempts to rescue our gang in his Daewoo. Upon exiting the car, he is shot a further 7 times with a machine gun.

The car then explodes and takes the building with it (Red’s still inside). Despite this he is the only survivor and mentions that he might need to see a doctor.

By the Way. Did I mention he also has herpes.

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

Let me just start off by saying that Hellboy 2 is 10 times better than the first. So if you didn’t like the first, go see the second.
Many characters from the first return include Hellboy, Liz, Abe & Head of BPRD Tom Manning. Myers however has been transferred by a jealous Hellboy to Antarctica.
Hellboy is struggling with with having Liz as a girlfriend. This is due to Hellboy wanting public attention. Problem is Liz hates it when everyone’s looking at her, she feels like a freak.
Liz meanwhile is pregnant and doesn’t know how to tell Hellboy.
Ape falls in love, which leads to him and Hellboy getting drunk and singing love songs together. Resulting in possibly one of the funniest scenes in a Comic Book Movie.
However  much of the humor comes from a new character Johann Krauss. A German scientist, who is quite the big shot in Washington. Because he is German and by the book, Hellboy hates him. This leads to an exchange between the 2 and ends with Strauss telling Red “I can take you” and he does.
Overall the plot is a bit disjointed in places, but the special effects, the 1 liners and just the general scope of it all, makes Hellboy 2 a must see film. The only disappointment is that director Del Toro has since committed himself to “The Hobbit”. Meaning we’ll have to wait to at least 2012 for another sequel.
